Eric has had a diverse and meaningful journey that ultimately led him from his roots on the Iron Range, to Southern Minnesota and the practice of law. His path began with service in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed multiple deployments, including in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing his military service, Eric spent 16 years in manufacturing and distribution operations management, where he honed his skills in leadership, strategic decision making, and navigating multifaceted challenges, shaping the practical and detail driven approach he brings to his legal practice.

Eric graduated cum laude from Bethel University with his bachelor’s degree and earned his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. His diverse professional background guides his approach to working with clients and helps him navigate both legal and practical challenges with clarity and confidence.

Eric’s transactional practice focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate, and Business Law. He values proactive planning and client education, working closely with clients to anticipate and minimize potential issues before they develop. When legal problems do arise, he is committed to guiding clients toward effective and efficient resolutions that reduce unnecessary conflict, cost, and delay.

After more than two decades living and working in the Twin Cities, Eric is grateful to now call Southern Minnesota home.

Eric is married and has two children. Outside of work, he enjoys relaxing on the lake, staying active through running, and spending quality time with his family.
