Born and raised in the small town of Odin, Minnesota and with deep roots in the area, Jeremy places an emphasis on serving the legal needs of the families, farms and businesses in and around New Ulm and the region.

Since joining the firm in 2006, Jeremy has developed a growing general law practice, while particularly enjoying working with clients to meet their legal goals in the areas of estate planning, elderlaw, real estate, business, probate, and agricultural law. He takes particular pride in the confidence placed in his counsel by non-profit organizations, from small church congregations to nationwide organizations. In a legal climate that seems to place an increasing emphasis on selling a “legal product,” Jeremy believes in providing exceptional legal counsel and advice to his clients.

Jeremy is a licensed title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Company and is a member of the Ninth District Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. For the last several years, he has been named a “Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer” attorney by Super Lawyers magazine. Jeremy graduated from South Dakota State University, with Honors, and from the University of South Dakota School of Law as a Thomas Sterling Honor Society graduate (top 10% of his graduating class). While in law school, he served as an Editor and Staff Writer for the South Dakota Law Review and as a Legal Writing Graduate Assistant. He was a member of the Dean’s List and the recipient of the Everett Bogue and George Mickelson Scholarships, the Roger and Claudia Baron Effort Award, and High Grade Awards for his course performance in Legal Research, Torts, Federal Income Tax, Legal Profession and Elderlaw.
