On Tuesday, November 11th, Blethen, Gage and Krause held the fourth annual Landlord-Tenant Law Seminar.  At this seminar, attorney Silas Danielson presented to local area landlords and property management companies regarding important issues facing property managers today.  Topics covered in this year's seminar included screening tenants (the rental application, verifying identity, written screening criteria, fees, fair housing/discrimination,  background checks and denials), and how to handle issues related to disabled tenants (reasonable accommodations, responding to requests, when to deny requests, and documentation).   If you are interested in attending future landlord-tenant seminars or would like more information on landlord-tenant law please contact Silas Danielson at 507-345-1166.
