Case Study: Building More Than a Business

From LLC Formation To Lease Agreements—One Firm, Endless Possibilities:

A client starting a new business worked with our attorney to set up an LLC and register it with the state.  Our attorney then worked with him to transfer property he already owned into the LLC and helped with a lot division and rezoning of that property.   When the client found an additional commercial property to purchase using a realtor, the buyer and seller signed a conflict waiver to allow us to represent them both for a seamless transaction.  With the buyer of the property intending to use it for a different purpose than what it was originally zoned for, our attorney was again able to help them navigate the rezoning of that property for their new business.

With the building's new owner, the existing tenants needed to sign new leases. Another attorney within our office drafted the new leases for signature. Using our law firm's breadth of practice areas, our client was able to simplify the entire process of starting and executing his business plans, and he has the assurance of legal advice and support going forward when needed.
