On Thursday, May 7th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Greater Mankato Growth will be hosting a webinar regarding COVID-19 Paid Leave & EFMLA. From GMG:

With the passage of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, employers were required to implement two new federal paid leave programs. However, employers continue to have many questions on the law, including which businesses are exempt and which circumstances are covered under the new Emergency Paid Leave and Extended Family and Medical Leave Act. Our expert presenter from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage & Hour Division will discuss employer’s obligations under the law and answer your questions.

In addition, we’ll also be joined by a presenter with the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry who will provide an update on key employer issues from labor relations during a layoff to OSHA standards.

This event is free. Once registered, you will be emailed a link to access the webinar, which will also be recorded and posted on this page when the event is complete.
