BethBeth Serrill has been active with the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota since 2011.  She is passionate about the museum’s mission to ignite the natural curiosity of every child through the power of play in a dynamic, awe-inspiring environment.  Beth is the elected Board Chair for 2016.  In this position, Beth will lead the museum in its goal to establish sustainable operations and to grow the museum’s audience and impact.

Inspired by every child’s enormous promise and readiness to learn, a group of educators, business leaders, and community members envisioned opening a children’s museum for families across the region.  In 2006, the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota was granted official 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and began forging ahead with the mission.   Thanks to the support of generous individuals, businesses, local civic organizations, and families, the museum found a permanent home in the City of Mankato’s former Mass Transit Building.

Beth’s desire to be a part of an organization that provides a safe and inviting place for children to play, learn and grow is fueled by her passion for providing legal assistance to families.  For more information regarding Beth’s family law practice and other practice areas, go to www.blethenlaw.com or contact her at 507-345-1166.
